Scope of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers your personal data collected from you visiting our website (www.bnhhospital.com), using LINE Application (LINE@BNHHospital) or other mobile applications created by us now, including receiving the medical service at our hospital or other channels.

This Privacy Policy does not cover any information collected from you through other websites or applications or other method that we do not operate, which shall be subject to the privacy policy of such channel.

This Privacy Policy shall form an integral part of the terms and conditions of BNH website and application or the terms and conditions of BNH Services. By using BNH Services, it shall be deemed that you have read and accepted this Privacy Policy as described in this policy.

We collect your information to the extent necessary in order to provide you with the medical services (including promoting or restoring health and wellbeing) and convenience for receiving BNH Services.

Why do we collect and use your personal information?

We need to store, collect, update, process, and use such information in order to provide you with medical services or conveniences correctly, continuously and efficiently, including using your information to improve BNH Services and customer experience.

In the event that you agree and accept to receive information, we may use your information to send you information about marketing activities and marketing promotions, products or services that may be of interest to you in order to provide the best service to you via e-mail, mobile phone, or any other contact channel that you have informed to us

In the event that you agree, we will collect, update, process and use any of the above information that you interact with chatbot in our application for development of our applications and conversational bots.

Retention Period

We will keep your personal information in our database for at least 5 years from the date the hospital creates or edits such information, which is the period we reasonably expect to provide you with the medical service and follow up care, or for any other longer period if the hospital can legally process such information. After the said period, we will destroy such personal information in accordance with our standard procedures.

Who do we share your personal information with and why?

We will disclose your information to other hospitals in BNH hospital group to provide you with medical services and conveniences correctly, continuously and efficiently, or to offer you products information or services and marketing information that are suitable to you, or to third parties for processing data in respect of telecommunications, computer system, payment system, drug delivery services or information technology to the extent that relates to the services provided by BNH. However, we have established the strict policy on disclosure of your information to the extent necessary under the applicable laws.

We will disclose your information to the person authorized by you to the extent permitted by you, such as insurance company or our partners to facilitate you in claiming insurance or other services of our partner in relation to the medical services or other additional services. We will procure such person comply with the confidentiality obligations.

In certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your information to government offices, regulators, and other relevant authorities as stipulated in the applicable laws.

We may store your personal information in cloud storage (Cloud Computing) provided by a third party, in Thailand or other countries, with whom we enter into the agreement with our due care and careful consideration about the sufficiency of its security measure.
