On 22 July 2026, from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, BNH Hospital and Chulalongkorn University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on health promotion at Ruen Chula Naruemit, Chulalongkorn University.
The signing was led by Professor Wilert Puriwat, Ph.D., President of Chulalongkorn University, and Dr. Chairat Panthuraamphorn, Chief Executive Officer, Group 2, Samitivej and BNH Hospitals. Senior executives from both organisations attended as witnesses, underscoring their shared commitment to translating the agreement into meaningful action.
Both leaders also shared their vision and direction for advancing health promotion across the university community, bringing together academic knowledge, technology and medical expertise to strengthen healthcare for university staff, their families and students.
Prof. Wilert said the partnership would not only enhance healthcare benefits for Chulalongkorn University staff, but also open the way for broader cooperation in medicine, education and the transfer of knowledge to society. He added that the collaboration could be further developed through new curricula, initiatives and healthcare services designed to respond to evolving needs.
Dr. Chairat said that strengthening the health of the Chulalongkorn community means supporting people who play an important role in creating knowledge, developing students and contributing to the progress of the country. He reaffirmed BNH Hospital’s commitment to bringing its experience, medical expertise and standards of care to the university community with professionalism and close attention to individual needs.
Under the agreement, both organisations will develop professional capabilities and exchange knowledge and innovation in healthcare. They will also design health initiatives and benefits tailored to the needs of the Chulalongkorn community. The partnership will extend to the Chulalongkorn University Health Service Centre, supporting the long-term development of more effective healthcare services and preventive care, aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which promotes access to quality healthcare and improved health outcomes for all.
The partnership reflects a shared vision to combine medical excellence with education and the transfer of knowledge to society. It establishes a more connected approach to prevention, treatment and care, while creating opportunities for further collaboration between the two organisations.
